The hours calculator converts time records (in
punches and out punches) into hours. The calculator operates on either
actual time records produced by time capture devices
(electronic time clocks) or scheduled time records created
by the scheduler.
The hours calculator automatically applies your rules for overtime and
premium pay, adjusts hours for meals and breaks if employees are not
required to punch in and out for meals, and applies your rules for rounding
time records and rounding hours. Rules for overtime and premium pay are
linked to user defined pay groups. Any employee property contained in the
Q/SERV database can be used to determine pay group membership.
